The Green Party of Ontario is calling on the provincial government to do something about the continuing water issues on the Grassy Narrow First Nation.
Party leader Mike Schreiner says it’s time for action after a water emergency was declared last week.
Recent tests of the water on Grassy Narrows shows the presence of some potentially cancer-causing chemicals that can’t be removed even after boiling.
A boil water advisory was put in place a year ago.
