A couple of Sioux Lookout residents may have learned that lesson the hard way.
OPP say they arrested two men who allegedly made a citizen’s arrest over the weekend., then delivered their suspect to the OPP detachment.
According to OPP, the men apprehended a suspect and claimed he committed a crime. Investigating officers say they determined the supposed suspect was not responsible for the crimes and that the actions of the two citizens were not legal.
40 year old Wally Woods and 55 year old Pat Clara have been charged with assault and forcible confinement.
