The Federal Government has invested $250,000 into a Green
Power Generation project by the Pic River First Nation in Northwestern
Ontario.
Spokesperson Tony Prudori says construction will begin shortly on the
environmentally friendly hydro electric plan.
The project is expected to generate a number of jobs for the First
Nation.
Prudori says they are working with other First Nations in Northern
Ontario on similar initiatives.
