Plane vs. Deer Collision

A medivac plane stationed in Dryden had a close call Monday after
hitting a large deer at the Kenora Airport.
The Thunder Airlines plane was transporting a patient to Winnipeg
when it struck the animal right before take-off.
Company President Ken Bittle says the deer struck the left hand
propellor.
No one was injured thanks to the actions of the pilot however the
buck was instantly killed.
Bittle adds the incident could have been worse if the deer had hit the plane’s nose
The plane is up and running again.
