Environmental group Greenpeace says logging and pulp companies in
northwestern Ontario are destroying the Province’s Boreal forests.
Greenpeace says some of the worst offenders include
Abitibi-Consolidated, Bowater and Kruger.
The report also slams the Provincial Government’s conservation
practices and calls for a boycott until so-called destructive logging
practices are halted.
Greenpeace says less than 18% of Ontario’s Boreal forest remains
intact.
