Recent polls show Green candidate Bruce Hyer trailing behind his opponents in Thunder Bay-Superior North, but party leader Elizabeth May isn’t concerned.
The poll conducted for the Toronto Star indicates the incumbent MP has captured barely four per cent of the vote.
But May says the problem is that poll results are often based off the previous election. She says the situation is reminisent of what she faced in 2011, in which polls from the last vote indicated she would never win her riding, but rather split the vote.
May adds she’s not worried Hyer won’t win the riding under the Green banner. (File photo)
