It looks like Fort Frances was the warmest place in Canada on October 11.
According to Bill Laidlaw with Signal Weather Services, yesterday saw record-setting temperatures all across the region.
Fort Frances reaching 30.8 degrees – the old marker being 23 degrees set in 1995.
Dryden also surpassing its 1995 record by four degrees at 24.7.
The almost there was Atikokan, which hit 27.6 degrees, but still holds a 1930 record of 27.8.
Laidlaw adds Kenora, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake and Thunder Bay didn’t reach their degree markers.
