Energy Minister Greg Rickford says his government will act on reducing gas prices right when the fall session opens at Queen’s Park.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says the reduction will come when they eliminate the Cap and Trade tax program.
The initial drop will be five cents a litre.
Rickford says he will then look at ways to lower prices by another five cents.
