Greg Rickford Discusses Hydro And Greyhound

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford believes his government has accomplished a lot since it took office two weeks ago.

Rickford points to a move to establish a new and leaner Hydro One board.

As a result, Rickford promises a minimum 12% cut in hydro rates.

Meantime, Rickford says he’s working with his government to examine transportation options when Greyhound ends service in northwestern Ontario this fall.

Rickford says one option is expanding Ontario Northland and have them service the Nipigon, Thunder Bay and Wawa areas.

He notes they are looking at helping private sector operators service the Kenora district.
