The nomination deadline is 2:00 Friday afternoon.
Drew Myers is seeking re-election in Machin and is being challenged by Councillor Gord Griffiths.
Joe Ruete, Linda Anderson and Ronald Kujansuu are looking for another term on Council.
They are being challenged right now by Dennis Peterson, Paul Kelly, Bobby Elliott, Garry Parkes, Ray Pilkey and Marieanne Moreau.
In Ignace, Lee Kennard is looking to return to the Mayor’s seat.
He’s going up against Nelson Taddeo and Donald Cunningham.
Shaun Defeo is seeking re-election on Council and he’s joined by Greg Waldock, David Penney, Martin Hoey, Debbie Hart, Janet Lett, Chantelle Tucker and Penny Lucas.
Four Council seats are available in Ignace and Machin.
