Greg Rickford Getting Settled In To New Portfolio

The transition from MP to Minister of State continues for Kenora’s Greg Rickford.
Rickford has been busy being briefed on his new duties as Minister of Science and Technology and Minister responsible for FedNor.
Rickford says that includes the hiring of new staff.
Rickford says he’s hired Mark Wright from Thunder Bay to handle FedNor duties, noting it’s important to have someone from the north looking after our regional economic development program.
Wright was an aid for former FedNor Minister Joe Comuzzi.
Rickford stresses the key is addressing local infrastructure and economic challenges.
