Dryden has a new Mayor.
Businessman Greg Wilson has been selected to fill the vacancy left by the departure of Craig Nuttall.
Wilson finished second in the last municipal election and says his main goal is helping Council focus on financial sustainability.
Wilson also plans to connect with the community and other partners.
He says he will spend the next month as a “shadow”, to learn the inner-workings of the position.
Deputy Mayor Martin MacKinnon will continue to fulfill the role until Wilson is officially sworn in on November 2nd.
