After years of planning and months of waiting, it appears construction
of the Dryden Skateboard Park is finally moving forward.
Director of Community Services Bill Latham says crews are scheduled
to break ground at the North Dryden site Wednesday.
The $250,000, 14,000 square foot park has suffered a
number of setbacks forcing local youth to play the waiting game.
As well, Latham says some initial work on the new soccer complex in the same
area of Rotarty Park is expected to start in the next couple of weeks.
