Groundhog-Moose Day

Today (Tuesday) is Groundhog Day and for the first time Dryden’s Max the Moose is getting involved and taking on the role as groundhog.
Max and Chamber of Commerce officials will get together at 9 o’clock to predict either 6-more weeks of winter or an early spring.
Forecasting groundhogs are three-for-three so far.
And, all three are calling for six more weeks of winter after
emerging from their burrows early this morning.
Wiarton Willie, Shubenacadie Sam and Punxsutawney Phil each saw their respective shadows.
