The first Dryden Days of Summer event is being hailed a success.
Suzanne Scherban says feedback from Council, businesses and the public has been positive.
Scherban says there was plenty of hustle and bustle and a positive feeling in the downtown core.
A public meeting is planned for September 24th to start planning for the future.
Scherban says she hopes to make the event bigger and better.
She notes they will be seeking input and looking at possible improvements.
The meeting starts at 6 o’clock at the Riverview Lodge.
Scherban notes the Days of Summer Committee is hoping to move forward but they want to ensure that the community is on board to continue the event.
