There are growing privacy concerns in northwestern Ontario. More and more reports have come public about personal information getting breached.
Canada’s Privacy Commissioner Daniel Therrien says privacy risks are growing, but notes there are some simple things that you can do to protect your personal information.
Therrien suggests updating your privacy settings on your devices, Internet browser, and on social media sites, noting they must be protected by a strong password. He suggests avoiding using the same password on multiple websites.
