Forestry, mining and health care are some of the issues expected to be addressed in the upcoming Northern growth plan.
Northern Development, Mines and Forestry Deputy Minister David Lindsay says a draft of the economic blueprint for the north could be out within the next 6-weeks.
Lindsay says it will address many issues brought forward in public consultations.
He says support from everyone from grassroots organizations to the federal government will be needed to help carry out the plan.
Lindsay warns though not to expect the plan to become a sole grant program for northern economic development.
