Gun at School story

The rumours around Dryden over the weekend seem once agian to have
taken on a life of their own.
Police say reports of a student at New Prospect School showing up
with a loaded firearm were just not true.
A child did have a Pellet pistol in a back pack but Police tell CKDR
News it was not brandished in a threatening manner at any time.
The student told Officers they were storing the pistol for someone else
who did not want to get into trouble.
Police & School Officials say they have dealth with the student in
question under the Safe Schools Act Legislation.
