A review of this winter’s flu season has helped the Northwestern Health Unit identify both strengths and weaknesses.
Acting Medical Officer of Health, Dr. James Arthurs says he’s happy with how things went given the Health Unit had to administer vaccines for both the H-1-N-1 and seasonal flu.
Arthurs admits there was some confusion over who should have got the vaccine, but the impact of H1N1 in the area was not as great as first feared.
