NDP Leader Howard Hampton says the Ernie Eves government has not invested enough in the North in the latest provincial budget.
Hampton says although some money has been put aside for health care and education, school boards in this region need more.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP also says the province is short-changing the north by only investing half of what it normally does each year in the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.
