Hampton Not Pleased with Softwood Deal

The MPP for Kenora-Rainy River isn’t impressed with the Federal and
Provincial Government’s lack of concern for the softwood lumber industry.
Howard Hampton says Mills were forced to sign the Canada-U.S. softwood deal.
The NDP Leader believes the Companies were starved for cash and felt
signing the softwood agreement would be better than nothing.
Hampton feels the deal is going to be the cause of future layoffs and closures in the forest industry.
