8-youth from Sioux Lookout and Dryden participated in the Big Brothers
and Big Sisters Kids N Kops program this week.
Event Coordinator Julie Apland says kids had an opportunity to learn
some valuable lessons as well as have some fun with police and fire
personnel.
The kids learned more about the canine unit, bomb disposal team and
also had an opportunity to play games with the officers.
Apland says kids often look up to police and fire personnel so the
program brings them together to form a positive relationship.
