Hampton on Dental Care

The leader of the N.D.P. says he would like to see a dental care plan in Ontario for children and low income
residents.

The Kenora-Rainy River M.P.P. released details of the plan yesterday.

Hampton believes that taking care of dental problems will save Ontario’s health care system money in the long run.

Hampton estimates the dental care program would cost about 100 million dollars a year initially and could be offered through health units or family health clinics
