Hampton on Electricity

NDP Leader Howard Hampton is giving the McGuinty Liberals a failing
mid-term report card for not having a coherent electricity policy.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP says there’s no reason why 2-years after
the Province’s black-out, the government hasn’t drafted a plan.
Hampton is suggesting the Liberals provide money to those who
replace their old fridges and freezers with new energy efficient appliances.
He adds the Liberal Government hasn’t considered the unique challenges Southern Ontario electricity rates impose on their Northern counterpart.
