The Community Care Access Centre for the Kenora-Rainy River District
hopes to see support to continue “end of life” care for area residents.
Executive Director Karen Ingebritson says the McGuinty Government has
given them an indication that more funding for the program will be announced
by August.
She says they could fine tune there practices for caregivers with more
money.
Last year, C.C.A’s received funding to develop a model of care for area
residents who would like to stay in their homes and not attend a hospital before they die.
