Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton calls it a victory for consumers.
Hampton is referring to two unions which won a court battle last week to block the sale of Hydro One.
He believes the Ernie Eves government will still try and push through deregulation in time for the proposed May 1st market opening date.
However, Hampton says Eves only has two options – appealing the court case which could take months or recalling Queens Park to pass legislation giving the province the authority to sell Hydro One.
