Students at Pelican Falls School will make a special presentation to
Lakehead University’s Department of Indigenous Learning on Wednesday April 19th.
Instuctor Darren Lentz says 16-youth spent an entire semester building
a hand-made, 10-foot long birch bark canoe as part of their curriculum.

Lentz says students need to share their teachings and learnings from
the course and notes its a great opportunity to learn more about
post-secondary education.
