Well over 200 elementary and high school students from Dryden, Vermilion Bay, Sioux Lookout and Fort Frances competed in the annual Harry McMaster Track and Field Meet Monday at Dryden High School.
Organizer Tomiko Hoshizaki says conditions were perfect for the highly successful event, stressing a number of personal best times and results were achieved.
Hoshizaki says the event couldn’t happen without a great volunteer team of parents, community members and students in place.
The meet was a preview for the upcoming NorWOSSA High School Track and Field championship.
