Harvesting Cards Sent to Metis Nation of Ontario M

The President of the Metis Nation of Ontario says they have started to mail out harvesting cards to members who have applied for them.
So far about 600 cards have been issued.
Tony Belcourt says under the agreement signed with the MNR this summer, the MNO can issue just over 1,200 harvesting cards for hunting and fishing.
Belcourt says the cards are good for a 2 year period during the interim arrangement and they can apply for more applications.
