Northern Genesis Portal Close to Being On-Line

The Northern Genesis Portal was front and centre at the annual meeting of the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce in Marathon on the weekend.
The leading edge technology, being developed by Bell Canada, has the potential to allow Northern communities to grow and flourish.
Bell Spokesperson Sue Skorkowski says the portal gives residents a vehicle to find a wealth of information and link regional communities.
Skorkowski says the $2.8 million project has a launch date of June 2005.
