A report from the hate crimes community working group
recommends the Provincial Government take action to help
Ontario’s Aboriginals.
The group visited Kenora in January 2006, and
Spokesperson Dr. Karen Mock says they saw several local
initiatives the community can be proud of.

An interministerial team has been struck between the
Attorney General’s office, and Community Safety and
Correctional Services.
The team will consider the reports recommendations, and
dole out a possible future investment of 1.3 million
dollars.
