Health And Safety Mobile Lab Coming To Dryden/Sioux Lookout

A mobile lab that focuses on occupational health and safety training is making its way through northwestern Ontario.

The Laurentian University Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health unit will be in Sioux Lookout and Dryden on Thursday.

Dr. Sandra Dorman says the M-CROSH lab is travelling to collect information on workplace safety and key issues in the region.

Dorman says the goal is to train people in the north to stay in the north and provides health and safety research opportunities.

She adds the unit allows them to be on site to ask workers questions in a private and confidential setting.

You can find out more information by visiting the M-CROSH lab at the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre from 10am-12:00pm and the Dryden Memorial Arena from 2:30pm-4:30pm.
