Open Roads School in Dryden is getting an early jump on efforts to raise money for a trip to Toronto.
Grade 8 Fine Arts students Delta Thistle and McKenna Drummond were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday to announce a fundraising car wash on Saturday.
It’s being held from 9:00am-4:00pm at D&S Auto Glass on 164 Grand Trunk Avenue.
The Toronto expedition is planned for June, 2018.
Thistle and Drummond say they will be touring the CN Tower, visiting the Ripley’s Aquarium, enjoying a harbour cruise, attending the Medieval Times Dinner Theatre, taking part in an interactive activity at Queen’s Park and
taking in a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game.
