The Director of the Ontario Health Coalition says the province’s budget hurts health care.
Natalie Mehra says hospitals across the region won’t see any increase in funding, which could mean further cuts to beds and services.
She says it’s great that the government is investing $260-million in home care for seniors, but there’s more then meets the eye.
Mehra says on a per-patient basis it seems like there’s no money at all.
