The Dryden Area Family Health Team is trying to establish a “healthy community”.
Health Fest 2015 is being held Thursday from 4 until 8 at the Centre.
Spokesperson Jennifer Millard says experts will be on hand to show people what’s available in the community and how to eat healthy.
Millard says the session is open to the public but is aimed towards people who are at risk or living with diabetes.
There will activities, free healthy food samples, interactive displays as well as a kids section.
The Dryden GM Ice Dogs will also be in attendance.
The event is free of charge.
