A berth in the Winnipeg High School Football Championship is on the line Thursday for the Dryden Eagles.
The ‘Blue and Gold’ face the Vincent Massey Vikings in the Semi-Final.
Head Coach Geoff Zilklans says they didn’t know their opponent until Monday, so they had to scramble to get a scouting report.
Zilklans says the Vikings are a run heavy team and is solid on the defensive side.
The team from Brandon played in the division above Dryden this season.
Zilklans says his team is eager to go and notes they continue to gain momentum with all three parts of their game working right now.
However, he stresses today is going to be a difficult challenge.
