A new report on Ontario’s health care system says there’s room for improvement.
The provincial monitoring agency, Health Quality Ontario, has submitted a 120-page report.
It finds patients are still finding it difficult to access a physician, and some seniors aren’t filling or renewing prescriptions because of cost.
The document also suggests that diabetics aren’t getting regular eye exams.
It does find the overall health of Ontarians continues to improve with rates of smoking and physical inactivity dropping.
