As Toronto begins to recover from the SARS outbreak, the Northwestern Health Unit is stressing that everything is normal in our region.
Officials have been monitoring a handful of people who have been traveling to and from Toronto in recent weeks.
Karen Essery says they have had a few cases pnemonia-like symptoms, and those people are observed for a 72 hour period of time as a precautionary measure.
However, she stresses that there has been no reported cases of SARS in the Northwest.
Hospitals and Long-Term Care Homes continue to screen for SARS.
