The Northwestern Health Unit is monitoring Hospitals across the
Region after the first confirmed case of the Norwalk Virus at the Dryden
Hospital.
Spokesperson Bill Limerick says they have been receiving reports of
vomiting and fever in other municipalities.
The only other confirmed case of Norwalk in Northern Ontario has been
reported at the Nipigon Hospital.
Limerick says the virus travels because of a lack of proper hygiene
and the best way to prevent it is washing your hands.
