Tracking Loons in Red Lake

The Ministry of Natural Resources has received some help in its
effort to track loons in the Red Lake area.
The owners of Bow Narrows Camp assisted the MNR this summer and with
the efforts of both, heavy activity was reported.
5-nests were found with young loons in each nest.
The MNR has been closely monitoring loon activity in the Red Lake area
for some time.
