The board of the Northwesterm Health Unit has decided to freeze the municipal levy next year.
The board met last month and agreed to keep the municipal levy at 54 dollars per capital in 2006.
Dr. Pete Sarsfield is the Medical Officer of Health for the region and says increased funding from the province allowed them to hold the line on any increase next year.

Sarsfield adds that they are still waiting to see how much more money they will be getting from the province next year.
He says they could expect anywhere from a 750 thousand dollar increase, to over a million dollars more in funding.
