The Northwestern Health Unit wants to hear your thoughts and opinions on the legalization of marijuana.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kit Young-Hoon says they are collecting information through an on-line survey as well as an on-line discussion panel.
Young-Hoon says they want to know what people think of allowing pot in our community as well as ideas to control the use of cannabis.
She believes the survey and panel will be a helpful tool to both learn from the public and educate as well.
Young-Hoon notes there will be potential health harms with the legalization of marijuana such as the impact on brain development and potential of vehicular accidents.
