The Northwestern Health Unit is pleased with the results of the 3rd annual Workplace Wellness Challenge.
The campaign encouraged workplaces to take steps to improve health and reduce stress.
Over 400-participants from more than 50-workplaces across the region registered for the challenge.
Participants were challenged to get more physically active, eat more fruits and vegetables, spend more time with family and friends and getting more rest.
The goal of the initiative was to encourage folks to think about how increasing healthy behaviours can positively affect both their work and personal life.
Wassegiizhig Nanaandawe’iyewigaming Health Access Centre in Kenora and the Sundog Best Start Hub in Atikokan were named Regional winners.
