The Acting Medical Officer of Health for the Northwestern Health Unit says he will support regional reopening’s.
Dr. Ian Gemmill says they are there to provide information to the province if necessary.
He notes the COVID-19 numbers for our region are good, however any potential regional reopening must be done with caution and consistent monitoring.
Dr. Gemmill says the decision is ultimately up to the provincial government.
