Health Unit Urging Public to Get Flu Shot

The Northwestern Health Unit is urging Health Care professionals to
get immunized against the flu.
The Health Unit itself has almost reached a 100% employee
compliance rate and Cindy McKinnon says other health organizations need to
follow suit.
McKinnon adds they’ve teamed up with the Ministry of Health to report
hospital compliance rates and the data will be turned in December 1st.
Meanwhile, the health unit has issued over 15,000 doses of the
flu vaccine to those who are deemed high risk.
