Healthy Caribou Population in NW. Ontario

The Caribou population in Northwestern Ontario is growing according to an aerial survey conducted by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The survey collected information such as population and distribution of caribou in the region.
Spokesperson Gerry Racey says they saw large numbers of healthy caribou.
The MNR will start monitoring caribou again in the spring and summer.
