Healthy Living Program Being Held In Dryden

A new 6-week program created by the Northwestern Health Unit starts today in Dryden.
The Healthy for Life initiative focuses on all aspects of living a healthy life such as shopping for healthy food, managing stress, getting more active and reaching goals.
Health Educator Calista Livingston says we can’t just focus on one aspect of healthy living.
Livingston says stress management is huge as most people don’t give themselves time to think about self care.
She notes the free program was originally designed for diabetes prevention.
It goes on every Thursday from 12:30-2:30 at the CAP-C office on 34 King Street in Dryden.

For more information contact Calista at 223-3301 ext. 3535.
