Long Time Local Politician Back In The Game

Former Ontario NDP leader and Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is back in the political game.
The fiery politician has been appointed Federal NDP Special Advisor For the Ring of Fire.
NDP leader Tom Mulcair says the mining project has stalled in part due to governments failing to work together.
He says Hampton understands the North, understands Queen’s Park, and knows how to get things done.
Hampton says both levels of government need to cooperate on infrastructure and skills training and he’s committed to moving it forward.
