A new MapGuide and website are now in place for a cross-border group to promote parts of northwestern Ontario and northeastern Minnesota.
Heart of the Continent has rolled out Geotourism initiatives with support from National Geographic.
Canadian Chair John Cameron says it promoting well-known sites in the area’s between Fort Frances-International Falls, Duluth, Thunder Bay and Atikokan.
Cameron says with National Geographic, it help expand the region to potential tourists worldwide.
