A dramatic but hearbreaking end to the SIJHL season for the Dryden Ice Dogs.
The Dogs fell 3-2 in overtime yesterday to the Fort Frances Lakers in Game 7 of yet another classic Semi-Final series.
Dryden led 2-0 late in the third thanks to goals from Mike Butler and Chris Belhumer.
Fort Frances scored with 3:22 remaining in the game and again with 15-seconds left to play.
Jordan Christianson ended the contest at 3:58 into overtime.
Fort Frances advances to the Bill Salonen Cup against the Minnesota Wilderness.
